A strategy that does not offer solutions to a problem is not helpful. A slogan or a performance objective is not a strategy. A strategy does not state the obvious. For example, 'to become the best, most highly respected, organization that helps people' is not a strategy. It's a waste of time.

How to Use Questionnaires to Measure Staff and Customer Satisfaction
Many business owners and directors see surveys as a simple box-ticking exercise to satisfy the HR department or make the organisation be seen to care about its customers. If designed effectively however, it can elicit invaluable information for how companies can better engage with their staff and their client base.

Reasons Why You Should Enjoy One Of The Local Hair Salons
Sometimes, it seems like there aren't enough hours in the day to enjoy a little personal time. You head to work in the early in the morning. To analyze this data you will need a Business Intelligence tool, such as Qlikview, Cognos, Business Warehouse, Pentaho or the like. Whilst all these solutions deliver outstanding results, my personal favorite is Qlikview. However, before you do this you will need to ensure that your database design is set up in such a way that it will be optimal when using this data in a BI tool.

Specify the Outputs, Not the Inputs
We all are aware of how quickly the world has changed and continues to change, yet many of us are operating from a management and leadership model that just isn't nearly as effective as it has been for the last hundred years or so. Companies are organized to maximize profits by managing scarce resources and increasing efficiencies. That used to mean that scale was good and bigger was always better. The bigger you got the more valuable your resources became and those valuable resources needed to be allocated in the most efficient manner possible. Makes sense, but it is no longer a universal truth and if it is no longer valid then the way we manage resources are antiquated as well.
